there is a mix of almost 100 different nationalities living and owning properties in Alfaz del Pi. This makes it a great tourist destination because of its variety. Alfaz del Pi is famous on the Costa Blanca for having more full-time foreign residents than Spanish residents.
The town centre of Alfaz del Pi is 2 km inland but Alfaz stretches to the coast where you can find the beach of Albir and the promenade of the stars, this is because it is studded with the names of actors honoured at the Alfaz del Pi film festival which happens every July. The walk to the lighthouse allows one to enjoy the great views of Alfaz.
There are many cultural events happening in Alfaz, because of this it is a great place to consider moving to or retiring to as there is lots going on whereas many other towns on the Costa Blanca will be very quiet especially in the winter months. One can also drive 15 minutes south to the huge tourist resort of Benidorm which has wonderful sandy beaches and excellent nightlife, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The weather in Alfaz del Pi like the rest of the Costa Blanca is superb with hot summers attracting the tourists and the winters are mild which makes it an ideal location in which to retire to.
