 Christmas golf
 
 Bonalba G.C  December 8th, 2011. The last competition of 2011 was held at Bonalba G.C  it was our Captain, Terry Skelton’s day and the chosen format was a Texas Scramble. The recent wonderful, fine weather  continued and a great day was had by all on a course that is still in great condition.
 
 The Santa hats worn by many  members were somewhat upstaged by the ‘creation’ worn by the Handicap Secretary but the least said about that the better!
 
 The prize giving took place in the sunshine outside on the Terrace overlooking the first tee. The scoring on the day was extremely close, only being decided on countback for first and second places.
 
 Winning Team: Alan Craig, David Bibby, Mike Ingle & Carol Marriner 40 pts
 Nearest the Pin: Hole 4 Trevor Ambler, Hole 8 Peter Hutchison, Hole 11 Alan Craig, Hole 14 Barry Gribble
 
 The first competition of 2012 will also be held at Bonalba G.C On January 12th, where members will be competing for the Royal Marines Trophy. First tee time 10.00a.m.
