# Virus Detection & Removal

With the facility and know-how to download movies and music from the Internet, it is becoming more and more important that we have Antivirus software loaded onto our PC´s and Laptops. It is as importan to make sure the software is the latest and contains it´s new definition files. I am still coming across various installations where this is still not the case.
 
 Just yesterday a friend reported to me a problem and it was apparent that he had the Zeroaccess virus. The result being to re-install Windows 7.
 
 Point to note - if you suspect any suspicious activity, wierd things happening on your machine, the chances are that you have been hit with a VIRUS. DO NOT reboot!! Restore the system back to the a day or so before and hey presto, the virus has gone. No damage to the machine. The biggest mistake is when people panic and reboot.
