At the Lake Charity Challenge March 3rd….!! Walkers and non walkers - there is something for everyone! A fantastic line up of Live Entertainment will be a feature for the Lake Charity Challenge, … Now in its 5th year…. so we are celebrating!! Talented Musicians and entertainment by Sunshine FM, Jackie Whytte, Nick Gold, Tom and Cara, Stepahnie - X Factor Contestant and Dan Davy will be at Casa la Pedrera to soothe away the aches and pains… so you can kick back, enjoy a burger and a beer or 3 and enjoy the spectacular views overlooking the lake, and know that each step has made and will make a difference to someone’s life!! If you cannot walk or cycle, don’t worry you can still be involved. and come and enjoy the entertainment and BBQ or even perhaps a cream tea! We are also looking for donations for the hampers: please bring some wine, chocolates or anything that can be included into a hamper that will be then raffled off and the proceeds divided between both charities. Hamper donations can be brought along on the day or left beforehand at The Tea Garden in Casa La Pedrera, Quesada Country Club, Lidon & Ass Real Estate Lo Marabu, The Emerald Isle La Florida, Spud Murphy's Playa Flamenca and Help at Home Charity Shop in Playa Flamenca. The children from the home will also be there and they will be walking, and you can sponsor them too!! You can pick up sponsor forms locally or by sending an email to granddesignhouse@gmail.com or you can just come along and complete your sponsorship form on the day, altenatively although we would love you to get sponsors, you can just pay €5 registration on the day. Please wear sturdy and confortable walking shoes and bring water and a small high energy snack and your health card with you.
