 This week the match fishermen fished the town section of the river Segura in Murcia city.
 
 First on the day was Steve Collins with a weight of 8.58 kilos. In second place was Ann Fowles with a weight of 6.64 kilos, which included one Carp of 4.400 kilos caught on bread. Third was Pete Kerr with a weight of 6.26 kilos and fourth was Dave Hill with 6.06 kilos.
 
 Round five of the Spring Series will be fished on the Eden canal in Guardamar on Thursday the 7th of March. The draw should be at 9.00
 
  o´clock and fishing 10.00 to 15.00 hours, but this  has to be confirmed.
 
 After the first 3 matches of this series,  Dennis Pick is in the lead on 40 points followed by Pete Kerr on 39 with Steve Collins on 35.
 
 The Clubs next big social night will be on Saturday the 16th of March which is our pre St Patrick´s night celebration to be held at the Club house. The main course is a choice of either  Crimped Tralee Trout with a Jameson whiskey sauce or Dingle Coddle served with colcannon.  Entertainment is from a young Irish colleen called Sandy.Cost is €9.50 to non members of the Club.
 
 The next of the Clubs Quiz nights is on Tuesday the 12th of March starting at 7.30pm; the cost of this is 1€ per person and teams of 6 or less can take part. A game of Snowball Bingo is also played during the evening.
 
 The next Club meeting is on Sunday the 17th of March with the Committee at 10.00 followed by the General meeting at 11.00am.
