In the court case where Mayor Carlos Razmirez and deputy Mayor Jeff Wiszniewki are officially charged by the judges in the Orihuela courts of malpractice and political corruption, involving the issuing of contracts for the La Marina fiestas in 2011 and 2012, councillor Wiszniewski yesterday submitted an affidavit to the courts. In his affidavit he has shifted the blame in this case, accusing two of his personal assistants that worked for him at the time. Both of whom where sacked last year when the national Government in Madrid agreed with local opposition councillors that a councillor with 5 personal assistants during the economic crisis was irresponsible and completely unnecessary. In time we will see what the judges will make of the new developments in this court case.
