# A judge orders the ex-mayoress of San Fulgencio to 17 months in prison.

Criminal court 1 of Orihuela has condemned the ex-mayoress of San Fulgencio, TRINIDAD MARTÍNEZ PSOE to 17 months in prison for a crime against town planning, which extends to councillors José Mora (16 months imprisonment) and MARIANO MARTÍ APFSU (8 months imprisonment) and architectural engineers Francisco Ballester (4 months imprisonment), José Angel Varó and José Antonio Bernabéu (almost eight months in prison). The ruling absolved Simone Elster, María Teresa Terrés  and Luisa Alberola.   The events date back to 2000 with the construction of almost eight blocks of flats in La Marina which were completed by 2010 on land earmarked for sport residence.   TRINIDAD MARTINÉZ (PSOE) has also been banned for 9 years from holding public office and MARIANO MARTÍ (APFSU) has been banned for 8 years from holding public office.    A link to the full article is below :  http://www.diarioinformacion.com/vega-baja/2015/03/24/juez-condena-exalcaldesa-san-fulgencio/1613488.html
