DARREN JONES ENTERTAINS

Darren along with his young family, have settled into Spanish life very well after making the move from their home town of Nottingham.

Having been involved in several bands in my younger years, I thought that I had well and truly hung up my microphone!!

Upon arriving on the Costa Blanca, I worked as a TV Presenter and Voice Over Artist on local Ex-pat Station. This lead to further work with TV and radio.

It was while out filming a local showcase when a local band´s singer was unwell and I was asked to step in and sing a few songs. The night was a huge success and the owner of the bar asked me to come back and perform.

So, a new PA sound system was purchased and I began to perform locally covering songs from Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, The Rat Pack, Elvis, Neil Diamond and much more.

Very quickly various offers of work began to come in, Weddings, Society functions, Dinner Dance events as well as Bars and restaurants.

Currently, I am putting together a multi-tribute show which I hope to perform on the Costas in 2012, I have also recently joined forces with two other local artistes, Charles Prince and Dave E Moss, and as The Caballeros, we have created a fantastic show, with tributes to a Variety of artistes.
