We found out that we were awarded Imserso (cheaper holidays for pensioners) and today went to Almoradi to book. We thought the travel agent was on C/ San Fransisco, but it wasn't. There is however a very helpful bar there and they put us in the right direction. (They've done this previously for us). Today we went back to thank them and enjoyed a very nice lunch.
 So, we've now booked. 15 days in Lorreta del Mar. End Feb beginning March, E355 each travel included. However it entails travelling by train to Barcelona then by bus to our Hotel. It was a hoot. The Spanish man in the travel agent's could speak very little English and of course being Brits we speak virtually no Spanish so we booked only what we could all understand as we felt like morons wasting his time. We're going to make an adventure of it
 We did however find out that you can have as many holidays as you want between October and June, so, this may be the first of many. Next time however we'll find a travel agent who can cope with ignorant Brits
