I am on a roll this week,my Wife is back in the U.K.visiting yet again out new grandson,great news for her,not so good for readers of this forum.as it gives me more time to write comments.
 So here goes.
 This evening the pound reached a high against the euro for quite some time,trading bank to bank at 1.1830 to the Pound Sterling,meaning that if you are bringing pounds in to change you will get more euros than normal,and also if your British government pension is paid into your Spanish account,you can expect more Christmas spending money(dont get too excited it wont be a fortune) on the downside if you are selling your property in Spain and returning to U.K. to live you will lose out in the currency exchange. some you win some you lose
