The results were as follows: In first place was Barry Homer with 8.68 kg, second was Eddie Badcock with 4.20kg, third was Dennis Pick with 3.34kg and in fourth place Steve Collins with 1.94kg. The next match, the Valencian Trophy, should have been fished on Zone One at Beniarres, but with the water level there over 96% full, the areas to fish are under water. So a decision will be made at the meeting on Sunday 7th July as to where the match will be held. The following week the 18th will see us fishing round 10, once again on the Eden Canal. The next Quiz night will be on Tuesday the 9th of July, starting at 7.30pm. The cost of entry to this popular Quiz is 1 € per person and teams of up to 6 people or less can partake in it. The next of the Clubs meetings will take place at the bar on the 21st of July. The draw for the Pairs and Knock Out matches will take place on this day. The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which can be found just off the roundabout on the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar and near to the Repsol garage.
