 Bowls Report for week commencing 1st July 2013
 Our bowls report this week starts our 20/20 game against our friends from Greenland’s at home continuing with their recent good run.
 
 Margaret McLaughlan and Martin Butler won 24-15 the trips of Barbara Forshaw, Bernie Carr  Skipped by Alex Whyte won 20-8, away from home the pairs of Janet  Parsons and Shirley Hadaway won 23 -17 the trips of Gina Hindle, Sue Daniels Skipped by Len Daniels had an impressive win 33- 10 and finally the rinks Mo Taylor, Steve Hindle, Arthur Cronk skipped by Dave Hadaway won 23-7 giving the team an overhaul win of 12 points to 6
 
 On Wednesday our Federation Cup side lost to La Siesta but still maintain the top slot in the league.
 
 The final game of the Hurricane league saw the Pilots at home to La Siesta and it was a case of so near but yet so far a 14 -0 win would have given us third place in the league but unfortunately we lost 2 rinks by 1 shot and 1 rink by 2 shots to give us an overhaul win of 8 points to 6 the winning trips being Barbara Forshaw, Shelia Kirby Skip Bob Mallett : Janet Parsons, Arthur Cronk Skip Shirley Hadaway and Hilary Cronk, Mo Barker Skip Dave Hadaway:
 
 And the Navigators away to Monte Mar Torro`s  finishing with 7 points each the winning trips being Ronnie Garland, Reg Jackson, Skip Alan Castle : Margaret McLaughlan, Tom Spencer Skip Jim Donnelly: and the drawing rink Brian Murray, Kathy Manning Skip Martin Butler.
