Just want to tell all the people who park their cars permanently in the streets..there are thieves about in La Marina who blatantly steal any parts they want. Last night my son's direction light disappeared from his old model Alfa Romeo in Calle Madrid. We have a good idea who took it as there are 2 similar models not far from our house, and they both have to be ITVd soon! Well so has my son's car - and he will have to buy a new one as he has 3 weeks to go before the ITV!    Shame on you, petty thieves , we know who you are. Just  warning you - you will be caught next time and handed over to the police as now the cars are under camera surveillance. (Not that the police are all that interested - we did go and report it this morning, but they told us to go to  Guardamar?? Not sure why....)
 And while I am playing the whinging Pom, I might as well mention the speed most people travel down Calle Madrid - certainly not at 40 km that's for sure. The police would make a small fortune spending a day with their little radar... The 40 sign should have been placed much further up the road, and not 10 m away from the 30 sign painted on the road near the corner! Who on earth is in charge???
