# K9 Extraordinary General Meeting

In accordance with Art 12 of the K9 Club statutes and following the resignation of the appointed committee, the K9 Club members have called an Emergency General Meeting.
 The meeting will take place at 4pm on Thursday, 19th January 2012 at the Social Centre, La Marina Urbanisation (behind the police station). All current members of the K9 Club are invited to attend.
 The prime objective of this EGM is to elect the key committee members - President, Vice President and Treasurer. Other committee members may also be elected.
 Nominations for all committee positions must be made in writing, and received by midnight on Saturday, 14th January 2012. Nominations submitted after this date will not be considered. Nomination forms can be obtained from either the K9 Charity Shop or by e-mail request to k9clubegm@aol.com. 
 A list of the nominees will be available on Monday, 16th January 2012 from either the K9 Charity Shop or by e-mail application to k9clubegm@aol.com.
 At the EGM, voting will close at 4.45pm and any votes received after this time will NOT be counted. Two independent adjudicators have been appointed to count the vote and the result should be announced at 5pm. 
 Any members wishing to vote who are unable to attend the EGM may obtain a Proxy Vote Form from either the K9 Charity Shop or by e-mail application to k9clubegm@aol.com.
