Benijofar Far Far Away.
 In what can only be described as ‘Dire’ San Fulgencio took three points today against the bottom club of Benijofar. The game started well with a well worked plan with Gary crossing to Samu who shot just wide. Our captain Fernando was booked then their keeper fouled Giaco in the area and the ref gave a penalty which Giaco put away nicely, 0-1. Giaco was involved five minutes later with a long run but had to pass to Gary who could not control it quick enough and it went to nothing. Samu was then booked for dissent. A hard charge on their forward in the area should have given them a penalty but the ref was coming up with peculiar decisions. Gary scored next to take it to 0-2. Gonzalo was having a good game being involved in the centre but our forwards tended to over hit the ball sending it over the bar. Gary was booked two minutes before the end of the first half but no one knew why.
 Soriano had to make a good save from a cross then Gary picked up the ball half way into our half and went for goal. Beating three men and running down the wing he then crossed it into the top left of the net.3-0. On 65mins a tussle started in which a player from each team was sent off so we lost Piti. Another of the Benijofar team was sent off with a straight red and then the ref sent another player off for a second yellow. They were now down to 8 players and the game went steadily downhill from there with handbags being waved by everyone. With a well taken free kick in our half the centre half placed a perfect ball in to the goal mouth which Soriano had no chance of stopping,1-3. This was to be the final score on a cold January evening. We are at home next week against Murada 12.00 kick off. This will then finish the first half of our season.
