 THE distraught family of an Irish holidaymaker missing in Spain have appealed for help in tracing him.
 
 Denis O’Shea, 45, vanished after going for a walk in Torrevieja on Spain’s Costa Blanca last Sunday. 
  And although Interpol have been alerted, the Louth man’s family are pinning their hopes on Irish people living in the area and those going on holidays there this weekend to help find him.
 
 A family spokesman said last night: “When Denis left the apartment he had just €100 in his pocket.
 
 “He had no passport with him or identification papers. We are really worried about him.” Denis has been reported as a missing person and a garda spokesman confirmed that “Interpol is aware of the situation”.
 
 A popular resident of Termonfeckin, Denis had left for a ten-day holiday in Torrevieja — near Alicante — with his nephews Jamie Walsh, 22, and Daniel Millar, 20.
 
 They were staying in a friend’s apartment when he decided to go for an early morning walk — at 7am — but never returned.

  The bachelor’s worried family have appealed to Irish people in and around Torrevieja to watch out for him.
 
 The spokesman said: “He was wearing green shorts and a green T-shirt when he left the apartment.
