The children's home in Elche has been taken over by another charitable organisation. We have no information on the charity that has now taken over this home. There was a article in the coast rider last Tuesday where the home was being called "children's home Elche". Over the past two days we have had customers asking do we still support the EMAUS children's home Elche, because of that article. we can no longer donate to this home as it does not fall under EMAUS anymore. We will still donate to EMAUS itself untill Jan - 2013. We have no information about the charity who has taken over the home. We can't speak for anyone else that are holding fundrasiers for this home. A lot of customers donate to Impact Charity because we take advantage of this forum to advertise. Over the next week or two we hope to get all the information on who has taken this home over. EMAUS still have a baby unit, other care homes and shelters for the elderly and disabled. Impact Charity also sends baby clothes and toys to the baby unit. This is all the information I have as of right now. I have decided to put this on here as when all the information is released I dont want the public thinking the Charity has deceived people under any circumstances. I have found out today. We will be removing the Elche sticker off the front window of the shop. Donations will continue to be made to EMAUS but not the home in Elche. I cannot reply to any questions.
