 LA MARINA GOLF SOCIETY @ BONALBA
 
 A few tired legs after this meeting due to us having to stick to the buggy paths as the fairways are being reseeded. However ,few complaints as this Society are a hardy bunch who are determined to enjoy the day.
 
 A host of winners this week, but one outstanding young lady who was rewarded in 3 different categories. Her name- Sarah McCabe and she hit the Par 3's with remarkable consistency.
 
 We are grateful to Steve Warner for supplying prizes for the best total points on Par 3's. The winner was Sarah with a massive 13 points, closely followed by Carol Marriner with 11 points.
 
 Other  winners are as follows;
 
 Gold Category -  Chris Raper with 34 points
 
 Silver Category- Alan Jones with 30 points
 
 Nearest the Pins.  Hole 4 - Chris Raper, Hole 8 - Sarah McCabe, Hole 11 - John Thompson, Hole 14 - Steve Warner
 
 The 2's money was shared between new member Mike Davies {a warm welcome to the Society to Mike and his wife] ,Sahar[sic] McCabe and Captain Alan Jones.
 
 Our next meeting is Captain's Day on 30th October at El Plantio ,and a fee of 50 Euro will get you 9 holes on the short course, brekkie, 18 holes on the main course and a meal at the La Marina Club afterwards.
