# Twinning of Towns

I wrote to the Morpeth Town Hall a couple of months ago with a proposal of looking into the possibility of Town Twinning. This was a case of putting a toe in the water, to see if it was viable. It is just a pity that I have had to wait until it is mentioned in the Morpeth Herald, to find out the decision of Morpeth Town Hall. Thank you Ian for posting this, as it means we can now look to other Towns which may be suitable for Twinning. If any of the subscribers have ideas regarding this, perhaps they could post them on this forum. Do you think it is a good Idea? The cost of setting up of Town Twinning can be outweighed by the benefits.
