It appears from press reports that Banco de Valencia is having financial problems,and may go to the government for money.
 I thought i would mention this as the bank has a branch on the Urb.so lots of locals must have accounts there.
 Unless your accounts total to somewhere near six figures (sorry dont know the exact amount)your money should be in the main guaranteed.
 It may eventually mean that the Bank may be forced to close many branches and perhaps do some sort of merger.
 I hope the people with an everyday account dont go rushing out Monday morning to withdraw all their accounts as this will make the situation worse.I think the best thing is to let the dust settle and then if you want to move banks do so,To grab all your money may well mean your direct debits wont be paid,so please make sure if you do change,that the new bank can get details of all your direct debit payments
