# Food for Christmas

Did you know that there are several families living in this Municipality, who will not have a Very Merry Christmas due to having to go hungry. Believe it or not I was shocked to find out actually how many? This was brought to my attention when a person came to my office last week, in tears, because they had no money to buy food. Having to resort to going through the bins at the Supermarkets to feed the family.
 We therefore decided that we, would try to collect foodstuffs for those less fortunate.
 I am appealing to all of you out there to donate something at our office, to help feed our hungry. Flour, Long Life Milk, Butter, Potatoes,Pasta, Rice, Tinned Goods, Beans and Lentils.
 Any donations can be dropped off at our office on 5 Calle Madrid, between 09.30 and 1330 hrs until Friday. I will also be in the office on Saturday Morning to recieve further donations. The food donated will be dished out after Santa Clause has visited the area of the Social Centre at 6pm that evening.
 A big thanks to the guys who donated money to buy food for the hungry. It is good to know that there are still people who have the true meaning of Christmas in their hearts
