Today we played at our home course for this year.  Playing for the Old Rick Trophy the weather  was arm and a very pleasant golfing day, regrettably the course was not up to it’s usual standard with fairways  and greens having been sanded making scoring more difficult than usual , Also there appeared to be quite a low out.
 
 Very unusual for this time of the year, no doubt it will pick up when a number of our regulars return from their visits abroad and regular visiting members come for the season. Nice to see our Jimmy (the entertainer) back on the rostrum, nice to see Franck Juchau back playing after recently having to leave the playing area after nine holes feeling unwell.
