Do you live in La Marina surrounded by people but feel very lonely?  After seeing the idea of a Friendship Group started by Paul Cunningham Nurses, I called them to ask what was invloved.  This is a friendship group where people arrange to meet once a week at various locations but sadly this will not help me as I care for my husband all day, every day and other than to go shopping I rarely get out.  However, I have the idea to start a different kind of group where you can come and meet me at my home or we can put tables and chairs in the garden and have a home cafe bar!  I am in La Marina, very near to the Iceland Road (locally known as the bottom road) so if you live near the 'bottom road' and would like to meet up sometimes for coffee and a chat please contact me (annie0209@hotmail.co.uk) and let's get something up and running.  This group is open to everyone, not just people who care for a loved one, it could just be that you are on your own and in need of a friend.  Anne
