Friday evening - there we are at the Final Whistle, the venue is full with about 60 or 70 people.  We have had a very nice meal, the entertainer for the evening is the much liked Woody. People are singing along and up dancing,  then all of a sudden the Owner with a very worried look on her face dashes up to Woody and tells him the Police are here and to turn the sound down quickly. This is done even though it was not over loud, plus all doors and windows were closed. So the evening carries on and Woody warns the audience a couple of times not to applaud too loudly.
 Then it’s just gone the late hour of 11.20 pm and one is suddenly aware that the Local Police are now sounding off at the owner in the entrance to the premises, after about 10 minutes my wanting to know what is going on gets the better of me, so I wander out to see what the fuss is all about.  I think I must have unnerved the Police a little as they now decided that they did not like an audience - a little more was said and the now issued the Owner with a document all in Spanish.
 I made a point of walking away from the premises - the distance of 30 odd paces and the music coming from inside could hardly be heard. I then asked the owner what they had issued her with and she was not sure as it was all legal Spanish verbage. So Mr Mayor why are you trying to put the local bars and restaurants out of business? You need to get to grips with this local police intimidation before more places shut up shop in despair.
