Last night we had the Carols played by 4 guys from different Brass Bands, brought together by John Atkins and Moztly Mainztream. They were fantastic. There was more than 150 people who turned up at the Social Centre and sang their hearts out. The carol concert was followed by a Spanish Group called Algazara, and for those that remember the Summer Fiesta, the guy who played the electric violin and the saxaphone. A great night and thanks to all who managed along. A reminder for those who want a place to go on New Years Eve. The Social Centre will be open from 11pm until late. Algazara will be performing again for us and there will be a DJ to take us into the New Year. Tables will be put out, so bring your own bottles and nibbles and your dancing shoes, for what we hope will be a great night. This is  a free night so no need to spend anything other than what you bring. You may wish to book a table. If so contact our office ASAP.
 Regarding the Food for Christmas: One of the projects our team wants to start next year, is to open the kitchen in the social centre and provide very cheap lunches. We could use food donations to make batches of thick soup and bread etc. 
 As some of you have intimated , this would require volunteers, of which I am sure there would be plenty. In the mean time I have to prepare for the arrival of very special fat jolly guest. So I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy and Joyful Christmas.
