Had a great Karaoke night last night. Some really good singers. It really is good when holidaymakers come back to see us every year, and tell me how much they enjoy coming to the Karaoke, and of course, the Hillside.
 Sadly, it appears the rumour mongers are at it again. Apparently the Hillside is closed until September. Wrong. The carvery, which is usually there every Sunday, re opens early September, but the bar itself is fully open every day. Why do people spread malicious rumours? 
 Apart from the Karaoke every Sunday, the Hillside has great entertainment every Friday Night. This week, there is an Elvis night with Lynden B. If you have not seen him, get down there. Great entertainer.
 The Hillside is fully air conditioned and very comfortable, so don't listen to the pathetic rumours, go and see for yourself.
 Another note for your diary is Tuesday Sept 11. We are running a Fun night in aid of the Butterfly Childrens Charity. There is a 2 course meal, Family Fortunes, Play your cards right, Music etc All for 5 €.
 Tickets are available at the Hillside and at the butterfly shop(Debra) in Consum square.
