Some of the old pegs have been resurrected, to which I must thank all concerned, for this ongoing enterprise to create swims. The results from the match are as follows: In first place Steve Collins with 6.180kg, Second Barry Homer with 5.52kg, Third Pete Kerr with 4.70kg and Fourth Roy Buttress with 4.44kg. Round 8 of the Summer League will be fished on the 27th of June at Argos: Draw will be on the bank at 8.00am and fishing from 9.00 to 15.00h. The following week the 4th of July we will be once again on the Eden canal. The Clubs Pairs match will be held at Argos on Thursday the 25th of July. The Club will be holding its next Quiz night on Tuesday the 25th of June starting at7.30pm. The cost is 1€ per person and teams of 6 or less can participate in this fun evening. On Saturday the 29th of June we are holding a Pork roast event at the Club house, starting from 5.00pm- entertainment is from Tyrone. The cost to non members is 8€ per person .The menu is freshly roasted Pork served in a bap with stuffing and apple sauce-jacket potato- selection of salads on the tables followed by a fruit cheese cake. The next Club meeting will be on the 7th of July with the Committee at 10.00 followed by the General meeting at 11.00am. Our home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which can be found just off the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar and not far from the Repsol garage.
