Lomas de Campoamor is a magnificent complex surrounded by prestigious golf courses, yet it is only 3kms from the sea. It is an ideal place for holidays where you can enjoy the sun, sea and golf. The clubhouse offers a bar, restaurant, lounges, terraces, a golf shop and swimming pool.

There are 4 communal swimming pools in the golf course grounds, although permission does have to be sought to gain access to those that are not attached to this apartment.

Within walking distance are a couple of bars, banks and supermarkets.

For nightlife try the urbanisation of Los Dolces, a 5 minute drive away. This new development has an array of international cuisine that is also reasonable on the pocket

Also a 5 minute drive away is the Villamartin Plaza, which houses numerous bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and palates.

Alternatively, try the bustling town of Torrevieja, which is about a 10 minute drive away, where you will find many inexpensive and good quality restaurants, as well as typical Spanish bars. An evening walk along the beach front promenade is always a pleasurable experience, especially when the sun sets in the distance across the Mediterranean sea.

In addition, many good quality restaurants are dotted around the surrounding countryside and in the numerous villages. To avoid spoiling the fun, well leave it up to you to discover them!

THE SURROUNDING AREA
Unknown to many visitors is the easy access to at least four other 18 hole golf courses in the Murcia region, in addition to the three courses at La Manga Club. They are all very well maintained and definitely worth visiting whilst staying in the Costa Blanca, (if, of course, you are a golfer!) and, not forgetting, considerably less expensive than playing the La Manga Club courses.

The southern Costa Blanca is a fabulous area with safe white sandy beaches which seem to go on forever, most of them being proud to display the award-winning Triple Blue flag for cleanliness and safety.

Bustling Spanish fishing villages, numerous marinas, and an outstanding selection of championship golf courses, abound. The whole area is surrounded by orange and lemon groves with two central lakes one of which is home to flamingos and wild migratory birds.

This area is known as the "Market Garden of Europe" and the gastronomic centre of Spain with its plentiful daily markets displaying a mouth-watering array of fresh fish, meats and every conceivable variety of fruit and vegetables. The acclaimed "Mediterranean diet" is recommended by doctors for healthier balanced nutritional meals. The Southern Costa Blanca has the added benefits to be recognised by the "World Health Organisation" as being one of the healthiest areas to live in Europe.

Cabo Roig and Villamartin are 10 minutes away by car and good for restaurants and bars. When you tire of the beaches, why not explore some of the surrounding towns: Cartagena is a naval port, Murcia and Orihuela are inland towns not greatly disturbed by tourism. Archena and Fortuna boast health spas and mineral hot springs where you can bathe in temperatures of over 30ºC. The Spanish seem to love street markets, each town has one and it is a good place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables and souvenirs.
