Read an article in The Courier this week comparing the Spanish health system with the NHS back in the UK which highlighted the treatment received in Torrevieja hospital against the Rochdale Infirmary with Rochdale coming out favourably. I've received treatment at both and can safely say Torrevieja wins hands down from the service I receive from the doctors in the Quesada Health centre, to the hospital and after care. Its fortunate that the columnist received treatment at the infirmary in 2009. As part of improving the customer journey, the local NHS trust has closed the A&E department unless you can make your own way there, closed the maternity unit and transferred most work to nearby towns.

Take my advice, if your feeling unwell, stay in Quesada
