AGE CONCERN C.B.S.

The Charity recently held a successful Race Night at the Coopers Arms, Quesada. Over 70 people attended and had a fun packed evening with a good buffet and raised over 300 euros for the Charity.

Age Concern C.B.S. will have their usual stand at the forthcoming 'This is Spain Exhibition' 24/25/26th February 2012 at the La Zenia Hotel. Their stand will be manned by volunteers, who will be pleased to explain how the Charity operates and what if offers to people in need.

David Leslie (proprietor) of Coachtrips S.L. has been presented with a framed certificate, thanking him and his staff for choosing Age Concern C.B.S. as their 'Charity for the year 2011'

Torrevieja's 'Lend Me Your Eyes' project - for people who are unable to read themselves,has now been launched with Age Concern C.B.S. co-coordinating the English language aspect and matching volunteer readers with clients, possibly in their own homes. The Charity now has a presence in San Fulgencio, which of course covers La Marina, having use of an office at the Concejalia De Urbanizaciones every other Friday (from 10th Feb 2012). 10.00am - 1.00pm. for appointments please contact 966 443 002.
