I like to read this forum and other forums as is of interest.

I have read the problem with bar noise. The Sports bar has talent, I would like you to soundproof the doors as the sound from you is in my House

The lady skywalker, do not go to Englishman councilman, he makes problem and sings in bars.

When San Fulgencio fine for not making the law, will all residents have to pay this money to Suma, or will bars pay?

La Marina not a ghost town before consum bars come, so will not be ghost town as English people say when consum bars gone.

I family house in south from Andalucia. The bars now have to be legal with soundproof inside. I think this is same as Valencia.

PROTECTION AGAINST NOISE POLLUTION IN ANDALUCIA

Here is a summary in respect of music, etc in bars, etc.

Music is not allowed to be heard outside the establishment.

All doors and windows must be closed whilst music is being played.

Bars without a music license can have a television or radio providing they are soundproof to 60dBA.

Bars without a music license may stage karaoke or live music (a maximum of 3 times a month) subject to permission from the local council. To achieve this permission they must install soundproofing as above and an acoustic limiter to the sound equipment. Music must cease at 23:00h. Permission must be applied for a minimum of 15 days before the event, and they must receive permission from the Commercial Department before staging the event.

Music Bars or Pubs must be soundproofed to a rating of 65 dBA (This must be certified by an accredited source). They must have an acoustic limiter installed to control the sound equipment. Bars with an ordinary opening license must apply for an extension of their license to permit music.

First off I read you post. For some reason I have a feeling you are from the UK and your afraid to put your real details in. Secondly you will find the councillor is not English his Scottish that you your way of deflecting the subject away from yourself and making people believe your not from the UK by stating his English.
The big poit is though you have named papers that are directly aimed at the British people in Spain. I may browse through the local Spanish news but to say I fully comprehend what there chatting about would be a lie.
Carol and Ian yet again a bars name or busniess is being brought up in a bad way. If I'm correct a councillor did speak to the administrator of this forum regarding posts on here.
I seriously see some bars taking a denounce out on this Spanish life very soon.

Back to Kurt give over mate and stop being silly.
If the goverment went by them rules there would be no la marina.
I think the saying stands true > rule are ment to be broke when need be.

How. This is how. You have read all the postings regarding bars/charities blah blah blah. You can not stop people posting, that you can't do but Spanish life admin that are based in la marina have to romove posts or make them un-accessible once defamation of character busniess is called into question.
Like I've said you can't stop people posting on here but your responsibility or la marinas admin is to regulate posts or make them un-accessible on any forum regardless if this website is based in the UK or Somalia. Of you want clarification on that then take the time to speak to a Spanish solicitor.
I can walk down the street and call someone a idiot, they then reporte to the police and I will have a denounce taking out on me. That's how easy and simple it is. Crazy I know.

Thank you Kurt for telling us what you think the Laws are on bars and places of music in Andalucia,I am so pleased i didnt pick that area to live in.
Also you refer to lady skywalker,yet only one mention of skywalker has appeared on this forum in which someone thought that skywalker was female.but you seem to know.
my first thought was that you were in fact skywalker.
But really I am thinking you are trying to wind us up.If you are it didnt work.
But I will say have a nice life.

The English council rep who use to sing and play leyboard is no longer in the council, that was the old council from last year.

Thank you for the information Andi I do not agree with it but understand where you are coming from and know that you are only posting so as to help. With this in mind there is no longer a site admin in La Marina so no connection with Spain or Spanish Law, so the buck stops with me. And as you already know I do not live in Spain

I would like to clarify a point kurt. Did you say that Jeff sings in bars? I do not know if anyone else has heard him, but i haven't and I don't think any of my friends have either.
