The impact charity shop has just been visited by the guarda civil. They will be visiting all charities shops and groups. This is down to the fact that we are recieving donations such as TVs electrical goods pretty much anything that comes into the shop they are wanting to see proof it was not robbed from a house. They will be dropping us a log book into the shop so anyone who now donates any items will be asked to leave the name and address. They will be visiting all the charity shops and groups who are selling 2nd hand stuff and donated goods

That is exactly what I tried to say to all 4 of them in the shop. Explaining we do not buy good to sell. They are donated.
This is a sad situation that is now occurring on this urbanisation. From what the officers explained to me was, untill we are handed a log book from them in the next few days no electrical good are to be received or sold. They made it clear they will be visiting all '2nd hand shops/groups on the Urb. '.

I would assume that this law is general, not just local on the urb.

Oh B..... wonderful. What next. They will be making us pay into the spanish pension fund if we are not careful.. The retention tax went up by 2% in January. makes you wonder if its all worth while. You come to Spain to retire and enjoy life. You volunteer your time to help a charity and this is what happens. Do they think we go round robbing houses to stock our charity shops. What is going on Jeff.
