***Lola's***

Last night we went to ***Lola's*** - up the main strip. It was lovely sitting outside having a meal and a few glasses of wine. We were also very pleased that the Artist also came outside to sing. Now instead of dancing inside the Owner/staff have made room outside for dancing. Much better - that's how it should be in the summer months. I have to say though, that when Midnight arrived the singer did go inside and the door was closed - but that's absolutely fine. A very nice evening and good service.

It seems it is ok for the singer at Lola's to sing outside whilst the singer at The Sports Complex is made to sing inside. I am all for rules and regulations but, the same rule should apply to everyone.

Yes agree. All the artists should be able to sing outside so long as it's not loud and up to Midnight - Here we Go Again........................

Lola's is in the main strip on the urb. It is opposite what was the old Big Ben (which is now Dos Mas). Lola's is actually the old Dos Mas. That sounds a bit complicated but hope that helps. Oh it's next to the Bank. There are usually a couple of taxi's outside Lola's.

I think that any vocal entertainment should be allowed over the weekend being no one actually works on a Sunday.
Just need to be realistic between Monday to Thursday and Fri-Sat and midday Sunday its the weekend

It has been a tradition for years to sit outside the Sports Complex and listen to music in the summer. There must be some miserable B...... on la marina to keep phoning the police. What really annoys me is the Rock Concert Tonight. La Marina is mostly retired people and who the b..... h... wants a Rock Concert at our ages.

I can remember going back about 6 years ago Quesada went through the same saga.

On the subject of Country and Western music, even this is not sacred here on La Marina. The Monday morning sessions of Country Dance Lessons in the Consum area, have been forced to only dance inside. Can you imagine hot and sweaty these poor dancers must get? I think the Council and their servants, the Police, have really started to over step the mark now. They have just slowly chipped away at the edges until they got their own way. Generally frighteners have been put on all Bars Restaurants and places of entertainment.
