if you have nothing constructive to say alan why reply,im asking on behalf of a friend who was made redudant and is entitled to social welfare from home to look for work in spain,but need to sign on within one week of getting to spain,would be grateful if anybody has any info on whereabouts of the office in lamarina,thanks

point taken,if you are in la marina,the best place to go to find the info.is the local councillors office any morning mon-fri 10.00 am -14.30
It is off the Strip the road just past Supa Valu,it is building just before mini town hall,I am sure one of the Staff will be able to help you.

I she lives in the Municipality of San Fulgencio,come into our office and we will make an appointment for her with Social Services, we will provide an interpreter. If she resides elsewhere she must make an appointment with their local Social Services. I don´t know if anywhere else offers an interpreter.

It is jeffs office where Idirected you to.As you can see from hes comment he could of helped.But La Marina Urb. comes under the umbrella of San Fulgencio,Where as La Marina Village comes under the umbrella of Elche.
So jeffs office may not be able to help directly,but may still be able to offer advice on where to go to in ELche
