Trouble in La marina

You say that 2nd Casa but there charities who operate on this Urb who don't have the correct paperwork or licences but people still give to them. Are you going to tell These charities to obtain a legal licence and registration.
The Urb needs the bars and so on.

2nd Casa,you just don't get it do you. Ok so let's think back to La Marina in it's heyday but now with just 3 legal places to go to. Would you wish to be limited to Chief O'Neills, Poppies and Dos Mas with all the other establishments closed down because they cannot afford the ridiculous licence fees that are out of reach.?
We are not moaning but stating facts. I don't wish to sound harsh but get in the real world.
I don't know you and it's possible you don't know me so let me tell you a little about myself. I am a qualified accountant having worked for one of the top 20 accountancy firms for 15 years before starting my own practice, which I ran for 10+ years before moving to Spain. I spent a lot of time with Avon & Somerset police auditing pub accounts where the owners believed fraud was going on. I loved the legal side of my exams obtaining a distincion in company law. When I bought Cagney's bar in 2009 I looked at all the legal aspects of opening the bar up and adhered to them. The bar has gone from strenght to strength and I pay all my taxes, autonomos, contracts and IVA. I put the bar up for sale earlier this year as I wanted to study Spanish law but discovered I'd have to move to Madrid to do so. I didn't want to be apart from Ricky or move away from the place that I love, La Marina. Subsequently we are still here providing great entertainment for our lovely customers which has now come to an abrupt halt.
I hear what you are saying about bars not having the correct paperwork. We at Cagneys have everything in place except the music licence so just to keep the 'do gooders' happy we have scrapped all our live music, which now makes us 100% legal. Does this meet with your satisfaction???

Seriously Kate it's not worth trying to explain, play music cause most are still doing it well the Spanish ones are.

Why not as the lack of them leads to all-sorts of abuse and mistrust would you give to a made up charity that is just a scam but with the right paperwork it lessens the problem as there is so many about abusing all the rest that are fully compliant that goes for bars etc after all if there is nothing to hide unless you see it as an easy way to make money/con people

ps it also takes the money/goodwill from the legal charities etc surly you or anyone else cant condone this action

To Cagneys I Do "get it" and am "in the real world" with your back ground you must see that to do things the right way is what you believe in ? or is it a case of not as I do but as I say? would you carry on or let people in the UK do this, so why do so in Spain also would you as a qualified accountant advise someone to buy/run a business that is illegal and not viable.
I do not wish to have slagging match with you or anyone as I am just stating the facts, by operating outside the law you condone all you stand against in your background as for the ridiculous licence fees is that not part of the cost of running a fully compliant business, come on you know this whole fiasco was about to come about, with every one doing as they please that is why there is rules and certain conditions to abide by when running a business put in place as your back ground suggests
