This week the match anglers fished the open sewer called the Sweet water Canal in Guardamar. After the winds of Wednesday,Thursday turned out to be a good day apart from the fishing. The drains expelled a lot of water through out the day hampering a lot of the pegs.

The result of the match was a win for Steve Collins and 15 points, in second place was Ian Air and 13 points with Dave Hill coming third and 12 points.

Next weeks match will be the Clubs Fur and Feather , and it will be fished on the Eden Canal in Guardamar. Pegs at 8.00am and fishing from 9.00am to 2.00pm then back to the Bar for about 3pm. No not forget to inform Barry or Dave if you will be fishing.

The Clubs Christmas Quiz night will be held on Tuesday the 11th of December at the Clubs home, starting at 7.30pm. This will cost you 1 Euro entry per person and teams to a maximum of 6 or less can take part. A game of snowball Bingo is held during the evening. There will be table snacks available this time. So come along and have a great evening out. We will also be presenting the the Clubs cheque for 710.00 Euros to the Alzheimer´s Society during the evening.

Next Saturday sees the Clubs Dinner Dance and Presentation night at the Club ho. A five course Christmas Menu will be served followed by entertainment from Peter Jay.

The final Club meeting of the year will be held on Sunday the 16th of December YES the day after the presentation evening.
