Last week’s match, round 4 of the Summer series was fished in glorious weather on the Eden Canal at Guardamar.

First on the day was Dennis Pick, with a weight of 6.64 kilos. In second place was Ian Dalzell with 6.50kilos, third was Dave Bacon with 3.920 kilos and in fourth spot Roy Buttress with 3.480 kilos.

The next match is due to be fished at Beniarres, but a decision will be made at Sundays meeting as to whether this will go ahead.

The next club Quiz night is on June 11th commencing at 7.30. The cost of entry is 1€ per person , and teams of 6 or less can take part. A game of snowball bingo will be played at this event.

The next Sunday meeting is on June 16th, with the Committee meeting at 10.00 and the General meeting at 11.00.

On Saturday 29th June, there will be a Pork Roast Social event held, and non members are welcome to come. The cost is 8.00€ per person to include jacket potato and various salads, followed by cheesecake. Come at 5.00 for a 5.30 start. Music is by Tyrone.

The Clubs home is the Bar El Alto La Dolores, which is on the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar, near the Repsol garage.
