It does it to everyone Mazza. Only you can see the edit and delete buttons, the rest of us only see 'comment'.

I get the same opportunity to Edit or delete when I make postings, however, after a short time this disappears and I am left only with "comment"

Thanks girls. It epomises the saying "Is it just me"? to which I now know the answer is YES. When my elder girl was young she'd come in and say "Mummy, Daddy, did you know ............................." When we said "Yes we did" she'd wail "Why didn't you tell me"

Stop beating yourself up! I am precisely the same as you I get confused in here and learn a little every day!

I wonder how many people have noticed the 'view threads' at the top of the page.If you havnt , it may come in handy when you are looking to read one certain topic(it may be one you started,or one you have commented on)and you may be interested on how the comments are going.Then all you have to do is to click on view threads,then scroll to the headline you want ,click onto that,and you go straight to where you want to be without having to scroll past everything befpre hand.Sometimes very handy if you havnt a lot of time on your hands

I don't beat myself up, I make excuses and used to leave the family to sort it.. I always know a friend on the forum will put me right. That's what this site is about xxx, Isn't it?
