What is occuring on ASL

After constantly reading about flip flops, on this forum, plus the sudden addition of old posts being regenerated.
I thought I would spend a few days away from the forum, hoping things would get better.
Unfortunately, I had the mis- fortune to have a look again today, and what do I find, even more dated comments being resurrected,Just what is happening to this Forum,surely I cannot be the only person switching off, because it is getting sillier and sillier.

Your not Alan I refused to get dragged into inane nonsense . I have a peace of info to put on re the Fiesta for the Virgen del Remedioiesta which starts next week but see no point to it.
I will post elsewhere.

Alan, I originally started the flip-flop debate, which I thought was an informative topic for people who didn't know about the rule, but unfortunately, the word(s) flip-flop is a title open to ridicule by the very nature of the words, which gave licence to every wanna-be comedian, a chance to have us rolling round with laughter.
