Hi Maz, there are rooms to rent on La Esquera just by the garden center on the Forrest road. I don't live far from there and we didn't hear the rock concert. The rooms are meant to be lovely. Good luck with finding somewhere.

Visit www.salonpartyda.com they have space for camping, caravans and a couple of rooms they rent which look nice. There is also a hostel on the beach ( can't say as I know where it is) but that is meant to be really good value for money, though basic, and right on the beach. Maybe someone on here will know more about that for you.

Unfortunately too close to the market square!

The hostel right on the beach is at El Pinet, accessed from the road on the right of La Marina Village opposite the road to La Hoya. I can't vouch for the rooms but have eaten there and that was ok. It is very clean.

Thanks, Caroline for recommending Cagney's B&B but I have to agree with Maz it was too loud even at the bar. Fortunately though last year we were fully booked with long haired, leather clad guests who were attending the evenings so the volume wasn't a problem for them,

Just another thought. There is a small hotel in La Marina Village although I do not know how much they charge for their rooms.

Montimar Hotel in La Marina village is good clean reasonable, inspect the room first as some are on the small size,,.down the main road from the top of the Urb,, under the 332 ,turn right at the high st by the souvenir shop and the Montimar is about 400 mtrs on the right
