2015 Election....
The 2015 local council elections are fast approaching, as of yet candidates for governing positions have not been released. It is rumoured they will be released late February / March time. 90% of us will already have inkling who will run for and what they will run for.
If anyone can elaborate on the number of councillors that can be elected, please do so.
The 2015 Election should not be taken lightly, with official numbers dwindling on the Urb surely this election must be run on "What can be done in the near future" not, lets see where we are 4 years from 2015.
The past two elections have been heavily based on, Oasis roads, animals, the mess of the Urb.
The 2015 elections need to concentrate on more of a community basis, more amenities, more access to people needing help, more activities to be held at the local community centre for all age groups.
Oasis saga looks like coming to a end, there a more than enough animal charities on the urb to deal with the animal problems, though it looks highly likely a ex councillor will play on the animal card, more amenities, means more people.
The noise problem seems to have died down, along with the heat, as one local member points out, the noise issue is always summer related.
2015 Election will see the PP, PSOE, PIPN, APSFU fight it out again, in all probability it will be another joint coalition between the PP / PIPN.
Every vote matters, make it a priority to make sure you are eligible to vote.
