A well earned away 9 points to 5 this week against Horadada Falcons with shots of 103-93, the highest winning rink was Gina Hindle, Arthur Cronk and Dave Hadaway scoring 26-6.
LA MARINA ASTRONAUGHTS
A good 8 points to 6 in close game against El Rancho Broncos away, with the shots of 104-86, top team were Dave Mcgaw, Cliff Rawlinson ( hope I spelt right this time) and Brian Duff 22-5.
LA MARINA EXPLORERS
We were at home versus Vistabella Albertrosses with a great win points of 10 to 4 and shots were 118-98, top rink this time goes to Janet Parsons, Margaret McLaughlin and Barry Sadler 29-9.
CAPTAIN V PRESIDENTS YEARLY BATTLE
It was a great club day in the sunshine with the Captains team just coming out on top by 8 points to 6 with a close shot difference of 106-100. Prizes were given to the top scoring team from both sides, for the President, Hilary Cronk, Ted Winters, Martin Butler and Brian Duff 29-8 and Captains squad, Ann Stone, Jeff Halfide, Mike Smith and yours truly, Bobbie Sims 25-13.
LA MARINA DOLPHINS
The details from last week that were omitted against Mazarron Miners, points 4-10, shots 104-112 top team were Reg Jackson, John Rae and Bill Jones 20-14.
Today's results, after a long trip away against La Manga Crusaders, points were unfortunately 0 for us and 14 for the Crusaders, shots were 61-145, we feel for you guys, but it happens to the best.
LA MARINA SEAGULLS
Well done to Mo Taylor, Chris Green and Clive Pratt with your winning score of 22-19 and Steve Douglas, Steve Hindle and Len Daniels who had the same difference with 17-14, a good try against La Siesta Golds away, points today, 4-10 shots, 95-123.
LA MARINA SHARKS
In a very closely fought game against Montemar Matadors at home, the Sharks won by 8 points to 6, the highest winning rink were Janet Parsons,Tom Spencer, Alan Castle with 23-15, but the come back kids were Hilary Cronk, Wendy Latham and Roy Hart clawing back from behind and winning by 26-20, a great effort by everyone to give us the overall shots of 113-103.
