Hi Alan, so happy to read your post, I am moving over in November and after reading some of the posts on here lately was getting a little worried. Everyone seems so negative and angry at the moment. Not really into politics, dont follow it here either! So thanks for you positive points...looking forward to reading more.

The points I have stated are just a few of the good points of La Marina,we do have a lot more which i am sure you will find out about when you move over here.Although you may find it pretty quiet in November,you will notice the difference in temperature during the daytime,and if you are not at home cooking Christmas Day,try popping down to the beach with your family,and take snacks and drinks and spend a few hours alongside many Ex-Pats doing the same as you, chatting and drinkiing.
Of course we have some bad points,but if you have done your homework,you will be ready for these,and they shouldnt phase you.
So I hope you come here later this year and enjoy La Marina as much as I do,Good Luck
Wherever you live there are good and bad points, but the good points definately outway any bad points here, everyone is so friendly and helpful, if you do have a problem there is always someone to help out or point you in the right direction, nothing beats our wonderful blue flag beach and great bars and restuarants either x
With possible the exception of August on main roads it is such a joy to drive over here, traffic on some roads is so small compared with UK. The only really busy road close to La Marina is the N332.
Eve - I sincerely hope you have not insulted Alice with your comment. Personally I feel that if one feels able and confident enough to drive over here in your advancing years, one should continue to do so. Do you drive Eve?
