This weeks match was the Clubs Fur and Feather and it was a red day. It was fished on the Eden canal which is part of the River Segura in Guardamar. 15 members took part in glorious weather conditions with Felix the kitten chatting up all and sundry he is a well feed little boy. After a close contest Barry Homer came first, followed in second place by Nigel Mourant. David Bacon was third and in fourth spot was Steve Collins.

Match anglers please get your fees and information into Angela by the end of the year or sooner. Other wise you will not be able to match fish with the Club.

The last match that the Club has booked for this year will be fished on the drain by Mercadona in La Marina, pegs are at 9.00 am and fishing from 10.00 to 15.00 hours.

All the Clubs requests to fish next years matches in both the Murcian and Valencian Federation areas, 18 in Murcia and the 30 matches to be fished in the Valencian have been submitted and I am just waiting for the final approval from Valencia. All our matches that were requested in Murcia have been granted.

The Clubs Christmas Quiz will be held on Tuesday the 13th of December starting at 7.30pm. The entry to this special night is just 1 Euro per person, and teams of up to 6 or less can take part. A finger buffet is provided, and everyone is requested to purchase raffle tickets to cover the cost of this. This is the last of our Quiz nights for 2011, but they will recommence on Tuesday the 31st of January.

Also the last of the Clubs meetings for the year will be on Sunday the 18th of December with the Committee at 10.00 and the General Meeting at 11.00am.

The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is situated just off the new roundabout near to the Repsol garage on the N332 between Guardamar and La Mata.
