Hi Gemma (Anonymous) Welcome to The La Marina Forum Good to see you are offering special deals in the area.
Can I please make a plea that we be allowed to have your paper available down here on the southerly slopes of La Marina. From outside our premised for the last 8 years all local papers have been available with the exception of the Leader. But before you ask we are not interested in advertising, we just have papers outside for the convenience of the Locals plus as we are on a main road lots of drivers find it handy to stop and pick up the Local paper.

Can I ask where your premises are? I will certainly enquire about it for you, our distribution department regularly updates and assesses the drop off points to maximise distribution for both our readers and clients

Our premises are on the main road on the hill as you are going off La Marina urbanisation going towards San Fulgencio. The exact address is 43 San Fransisco de Asis, Urb Marina.
So, would it be possible for us to have a delivery next Monday 19th March please?

The Leader is one of the papers i never get to read as they have nearly allways run out by the time i get up to the main local shops. How early wiil they be available?

I certainly do agree with you Dreamer. I am able to collect my other weekly papers here, so why not The Leader? It is very handy for me to drive here and park right on the main road. I look forward to hearing on this forum if The Leader will be able to deliver papers here. Thank you

If you all are having trouble getting the leader in your part of town then head to the grey area. Quick save have a lot of the papers (leader) delivered first thing Monday mornings and, theres plenty I go round.

Ian and Carol, I will put in a request for you to be added on the distribution list to see if it is possible, but priority does firstly go to our advertisers.

There are currently 5000 papers being dropped off in La Marina so they are out there but the paper is as popular as ever and is snapped up. When the La Marina edition goes ahead, dependant upon the interest from local businesses advertising, that distribution amount will increase to around 6000 copies.

Thank you Anonymous for putting in a request for The Leader to be delivered to us, but to be honest I do not see why we would need to pay for an advert in your paper to guarantee delivery. Very occasionally we may have put an ad in one of the other weekly papers, but they have delivered to us for many years now. After all it's really not for our personal benefit - it's for the many hundreds of people that drive past our premises every day and for their convenience as we are on the main road in/out of La Marina urbanisation.................

Does not seem right Carol that they are using your site for FREE to advertise their paper and will not give you any copies unless you pay for an advert.

I would think that they need you more than you need them if they are trying to get a new paper going.

Still looking but we are still without the leader down this end. I think that we have all been given a rude sign. Or just NOT POSSIBLE. At least I can get all the other papers from Spanish Retreats premises. That is if they dont run out to early I missed the Round Town News last Friday all had gone by about 12.30.
