hi, I would really appreciate your advice as to how i go about obtaining a fishing licence to fish from the shore, ive tried to find out on the internet but its proving to be nightmare. Dose anyone sell beachcasters? As i will be bringing most of my own equipment except for rod and bait. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I do a bit of fishing down on the canals with a mate now and then. To obtain a licence for just simple fishing like that then head to any bank. It might of changed but you can obtain a licence from the bank. Bare in mind that if he is fishing on his own the licence will only permit two rods. The local and gaurdia civil are hot on this as they constantly patrol the roads that are on the canals.
There is some good fish down on the canals by Icelands, and the walk through to gaurdarmar.
Also be very cautious of the Eastern Europeans as they will jack you. ( take all of your stuff )

Thanks for the warning Andi,
typical the local police and gaurdia civil are clamping down on fishing without a licence,,
but if you get mugged or burgled don't hold your breathe,,
