Goings on at head office may affect how your account operates best to check all is well, with any accounts you hold and if they are still at the branch you thought they were especially La Marina

Accounts are being/have moved to other branches by head office but they are not informing customers of this. when you find out you are told you will have to sign all-sorts of papers in the new branch to move account back and you could incur charges to move your funds from one branch to another this amongst other things, best check your accounts are all as you thought before its to late (could already be) remember the cam investment problem the other year people lost out on there capitol invested
Thanks for the info,not sure if the La Marina branch is still open at the top of the strip,keep a small account going for direct debits,elec,water etc,since 04 ,still ok online,,always found them a good bank,helpful,bank charges not bad,,am due back May, probably be apartments lol. if anyone goes past might post.

Sorry, but I don't really understand. Why does it matter WHICH branch your account is at? Why would you be compelled to go to "your" branch? (Apart from safe deposit boxes maybe). I haven't visited my NatWest branch for maybe 12 years!
I would think it depends on the type of transactions you do have been told by various people that they have been charged to move funds between branches and they had to into there branch to sign papers pick up cards etc just posted this as info forewarned etc may save someone a lot of trouble
PS this Spain not the UK banking advice practise not the same
Branch at the top strip still open and yes they have been a good bank along with all the others till something goes wrong and they start doing under handed things remember the cam investment problems a few years back in all the papers
Thanks for letting me know the branch is still open,when over I always call in,sign papers,pick up new plastic,pins,,sort direct debits,, etc (would not trust all this in the post) and its near,,, next to El Matador ,, nice for a meal,,make sure the branch is still there cos it tells me the company is doing ok, can do online but,,,,,,its good to talk,,,and I get free sweets,,and there's a nice bird behind the counter.
Branch staff from old cam ok its the banks policy's and decision makers faceless wonders that are the problem they do not have the customers to deal with when there decisions affect customers and create bad feeling making things more difficult than need be to resolve problems they created, you may be lucky and your account is as you thought and yes EL Matador is good for a meal.
