Just to let everyone know that our A Board that was stolen some weeks ago has finally turned up. a bar above the Charity Shop had taken it. Anyone who knows where the shop is will know the name of the bar.
I cannot believe that someone would steal off of a,charity shop. We have now got a chain and padlock so they won't get it again.
You mean the AMSTERDAM BAR. I got told yesterday of this and as I will be seeing Ray in a bit I will also be speaking to the person who took over the bar a mont or two ago.
You never know Pauline,perhaps if we make them feel so bloody guilty at the petty theft,perhaps they will pay for the lock and chain,but somehow I dont think they look upon this as theft.
To them theft is someone stealing a beer glass.
To the Bar above your charity shop......you know who you are.....do the decent thing and make a donation to Impact to at least cover the cost of the padlock and chain that they have had to purchase!!!
Seems strange that the bar is so close to your shop. Could it be that someone else stole it and then just sold it to the bar? What did they say after confronting them?
He gave me a load of crap. Saying he don't know anything about the board and didn't know anything about it until I showed him the board at the bottom of his stairs. He walked off didn't say a word, well it did in his Dutch language.
