We have a family going to La Marina to rent our villa and they are very unsure about renting their car. They are so concerned that they are getting a taxi from the airport and then catching a bus back to the airport the next day during daylight hours to rent one. Sounds a very expensive way to me. Can anyone suggest a friendly helpful company or person on th Urb to accommodate please. Steve

Lara Cars, on the urb, near Monty's Bar. Laracars.com they are excellent, can pick car at airport or on the urb.
I always use lara cars. you can pick up at airport and la marina like the last comment said.
I have used Lara for several years. Each time I come to Spain I ring them a few days in advance. They will give an option so you can choose. They meet you at the arrivals lounge and take you to your car. Explain the whole procedure and how to return before your flight. They are excellent I used them in Feb this year. FYI ,,just been quoted 414 euros by Lara for 16 days,,, 2 other companies recommended on here quoted over 300 euros for the same period,,, just booked with Argus on ''Compare Car Insurance'' on line for 159 Euros for the same 16 days,
That really is a good site thanks Goonterpreter and all others. I've sent the details to the renters and will always check that site in future. I am hoping Ken has already sorted it however, then I can move on!
Hi,yes they are the cheapest I've seen,I have used them before,have booked a 5 door for 159 euros but may upgrade to 215 euros as this is pickup at airport terminal and with Budget,,,the lower price cars you have to take a short bus ride to pickup,,this is marked against each car on the website,,

Have you seen my post re PJ's rent a car? They are outstanding, there is a post on the forum with details no need to drive they meet you off the plane & drive hou to holiday home no getting bus, they are also on facebook.
