A beautiful country house set in over 3 acres of olive groves and nestled in the Andalucian hills. Complete with private pool, this 3 bedroom house enjoys stunning views of Pruna castle. The best of both worlds: quiet and secluded, but just 10 minutes from the charming town of Olvera.

The Space

The house has amazing views of the surrounding hills. It is set in over 3 acres of olive groves, which are still farmed to produce local olive oil. The house comfortably accomodates 5, but can easily accomodate 6. There are 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second has a double and the third has a single bed that converts into a double.

Guest Access

The house has A.C. (cool/heat) and a wood burner, making it comfortable regardless of the season. A fully fitted kitchen offeres an electric oven, gas-hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine and clothes rack/line. The living room has 2 sofas and a rocking chair, but chairs are available in the dining area for extra guests. There is a TV and DVD player, but no internet or phone. There is an inside dining table with 6 chairs, as well as 2 tables with additional seating for 6 outside. There is also seating with umbrellas around the pool. Please be careful on the short stretch of dirt track that leads up to the house. It is quite steep and there are pot-holes. The track can be managed easily in a small car, but just take your time.

Interaction With Guests

We have friends in Olvera who will arrange a ‘meet-and-greet’ at your conveniance and who can offer information about things to do and see. They will also be available if you have any problems during your stay.

The Neighborhood

This region of Spain is so picturesque and beautiful. The white villages that are dotted around the area each have their own charm and identity. The house is also 10 minutes drive from the Via Verde, offering walking, cycling and bird watching. The house is ideally situated for trips to Ronda, Seville, Malaga, Granada and Cordoba.

Other Things To Note

We have a farmer who tends the olives and looks after the area that surrounds the house. He is very friendly and will stay away from the house and pool area. However, don’t be surprised to see him in the olive groves during the week. An ‘hola!’ or ‘buenos dias!’ always goes down well.
